The MTC has been so great before. On day one I made sure to ask the
Elder's we sat by what the hidden secrets were of the MTC. They didn't
have much to offer but they did share the ice cream days which spoke
right to my heart and that was enough.
Let me tell you a little about my district. There are 10 of us- 6 Elders and 4 Hermana's. My companion will leave in 3 weeks to go to the Lima Peru MTC. She is from Arizona and is so great! We are both laid back and so it makes it easy when we have to plan out our schedule. She is way better at the language. She could go a whole day without speaking any English and be awesome. Me on the other hand...eh...not so much! Hermana D is also from Arizona and is going to the Spokane, WA mission. Hermana B is from Maryland which is awesome! My first friend from Maryland! She is going to the Riverside, CA mission and will actually be one of the first Sister missionaries to go there. Apparently it hasn't been open to Sister's before now. You will have to let our relatives know! As for the Elder's they are great. Elder B is from the greatest place on earth! That is right good'ole Spanish Fark (I mean Fork), UT! I know his cousins and went to high school with a few of them. He and his companion Elder T (from Layton) are going to Spokane, WA as well. They are so funny together. Most of the time we don't get any studying done because we are laughing. It is more because Elder T is really trying to learn the language and gets frustrated and will make comments that are really so funny. Probably cause we all feel the same way. It is nice to have them around to keep our spirits up as we try to learn the language. Elder H is our District Leader. He is from New Mexico and will be going to the Salt Lake City, UT mission. Elder M is from Idaho Falls, Idaho and will be going to the same mission as me. As well as the last two Elder W from Dallas, Texas and Elder B from Wyoming. So that is my distrcit! It is great! I get along with everyone really well.

These last few days have happened so quickly. I have a few things I
wanted to tell you about. First- I had someone tell me they went around
asking everyone how to say "Hello my name is..." in as many languages
as they could find. I have only written down one but I met someone who
will be speaking Lafian I am not sure if that is how you spell it but it
is prononced LA-FE-AN. It is crazy! I did meet a girl who is going to
Germany. She has an amazing story. She became a member a year and a half
ago. So basically she got baptized waited a year and then came on a
mission. I am not sure all the details on her convert story but she is
going to share it soon and I will make sure I write it down.
Also these 5 days Sister Ann Dibb came and spoke to us this week.It was so great! She talked to us about President Monson and told us some of his hidden secrets! It was great. I have to go, time is out, but love you! Write next week!
