No Changes

I don't have any updates from last week to this week. This past Saturday my companion and I were invited to a surprise birthday party for a family we are trying to teach. I say try because every time we go over there it is crazy. Brittany (the daughter) became a member about a year ago and wants to serve a mission. We had an appointment a week ago but when we showed up a few seconds later the house went from 6 people to 15 people all coming over to eat. We had a dinner appointment so we weren't able to stay but we tried our best to teach those few that did sit down with us. Ha ha! It was awesome! True madness! There were people running in and out of the house, kids screaming both for joy and sadness, dogs barking. It the midst of all of this Brittany's Aunt was able to feel the spirit and committed to read the Book of Mormon. Isn't that amazing! The spirit is always the better teacher. It can whisper and touch the hearts inside despite all the craziness going on outside.

Anyway we went to this surprise birthday party. While we were there we met these two young single adults. It was a completely different teaching experience. One of them came up to us and said "what church do you belong to?" then kept asking questions. It was different because he was SO willing to learn what we had to say. He was asking all the right questions. It was almost like he was a member pretending to be a non-member but he wasn't. We got his information and gave him a Book of Mormon though, that never gets old!
