GENERAL CONFERENCE IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love general conference so much like SO SO MUCH!!!! I really enjoyed going to the Relief Society Broadcast. It was good to hear from the new (well 6 months old) Presidency. They seemed really great. I look forward to learning from them more during their time. We had a little dinner before the broadcast and we ate Peruvian food. It is pretty good. I am still deciding what my favorite pais (country) is as far as food goes. I saw a lot of people from the Reseda ward. It was really great to see them. Hermanita, remember her? Her food is famous among the missionaries. Anyway she told me that she is praying that "the Coke Elder" (Elder M) and I return to serve in Reseda one day. Hermana P and I are going to see if we can eat there sometime. I need to have a re-match with Elder M to see who is the true taco champion. Remember that one time I ate 10 and Elder M had to force himself to eat a 10th taco since I had eaten more then him? Yeah we will have to see about eating there. I really want to learn how to cook like some of the ladies in Reseda. They always had such GOOD food. I miss eating there. I miss the people. Reseda is a good place for a new missionary. I was thinking about El Camino this week. I am truly grateful for them. They are helping with my Spanish. One of the ladies always speaks to me in Spanish even if she knows that I am not understanding what she is saying. I was with her one day and all of a sudden she started speaking PERFECT English and I was completely shocked. I told her she tricked me and that I thought she only spoke Spanish. She just laughed. I am super grateful that they are not going easy on me though. I would rather be pushed to my limits then not learn while I have the chance. I am really grateful I am here. El Camino is such a great ward. I don't know that many members still but I love them all. They are so great!
My companion and I have been increasing our bike trips, and today we road 16 miles. We wanted to learn to play soccer so we rode to the stake center and back. I was lucky to be on a winning team so I got to play for a really long time today! There weren't as many people as there were last week so I had to be a better defender. Thanks to Elder B (the goalie) we won! Not that it matters but it just meant I could play for a longer period of time. I need all the practice I can get!
I know this email is super short. I have been at a loss for what to write today. I will write you more next week. Love you!
