Donde esta Antonio

HOLA!!! Sorry about all the billions of emails. I had a lot of pictures to send this week. I don't know if I should send them all to you or what but I always liked pictures so I hope you enjoy them.
The miracle for this week was we were able to find someone, teach him a lesson and by Saturday night he was a member!!!!! Haha just kidding here is what really happened. Our district did a Blitz two weeks ago. It was really cool because as we prayed to know what street to knock I really felt impressed to knock this one in particular. I now why or maybe part of the reason why. Hermana P and I biked up and down the street and found a few good places. We decided we would have one companionship knock the few houses that were on the street and the rest knock the apartments. When the day came the Elders chose to knock the houses. We choose this one apartment complex were we found some great potentials but not much as happened with them since then. The other Elders choose a building where a few days later we realized a less active member and a old investigator lives. It was a pretty great turn out for a hour and a half of knocking. We were really excited. As the weeks after the Blitz continued though our potentials didn't really go through. One day this week we decided to take some down time and try by the people in the houses. We knocked on this one house looking for someone named Antonio. This gentleman came out and said that there was no one who lived there with that name. We were able to talk to him and he invited us in. We taught the whole first lesson and he knew a lot. He told us that he was taking the missionary discussion before he came over from his country. Apparently these missionaries baptized 15 people one day and he decided that he wasn't ready to be baptized at that point so didn't get baptized. Eventually he came here leading us to believe that he didn't get baptized. I even asked him in the lesson if we could help him prepare to be baptized now. He seemed really ready.

We called him later Saturday night to invite him to church. As we was talking to Hermana P he said that he was actually a member but didn't know how to tell us the first day we met him. I really gained a strong testimony of how much Heavenly Father really loves us individually. We as missionaries find, teach and baptize but there have been several stories that I have heard about re-finding people who were lost in transition. I am always so happy to find members as well. I am really excited to help him. I know he has a strong desire to come back and I hope we can help him along the way. It was a pretty cool experience. We still haven't found Antonio... maybe he doesn't exist....
I used up all my time for sending pictures but I will be writing more next week. I hope you have a great week! Love you ALL!

Biking Sherman Way

the Reseda Hermanas and us

Okay this was cool! We were headed to the church and we couldn't get through due to this HUGE dia de los muertos (day of the dead) fest. At the very end was this car show. There were SO many! It was sweet. We had to walk our bikes through so I snapped a few pictures. One of the owners heard me say to Hermana Prince "I need to send these pictures to my Uncle. He loves cars". I took a few more pictures then the owner came over to me and said "want to sit in the car and I will take a picture?" Of course I wasn't going to say "no" so I sat in it. It was SO beautiful. I wonder why the world doesn't make cars like these anymore. Apparently this particular car as been in 6 differenct movies! It was pretty sweet!
