Hey Family!
I love my mission! Did you know that? Cause I do! I don't know what
to say. This week we had a Halloween activity for the ward. The kids
are so cute in my ward! Especially when they have their costumes on.
Hermana P and I switched name tags. That is about as creative as we
can get in the mission! Well that and the Elder's wore their soccer
jersey's over their white shirts. It was fun though! We had two
investigators come. I hope they enjoyed it. I was able to talk to two
members I didn't know very well and I always love getting to know the
members in my ward a little better.
Did I tell you about transfer last week? Hermana Prince and I
stayed together but we have a new district leader in our ward. He is
going to do a great job!
Man I am at loss of words as to what to say this week! I might have
to resort to sending a few pictures! Oh wait I forgot! At the ward
party we had two people show up this week at the church building that
live in our area. We are going to teach them this week! It is always so
great to have investigators just show up.
Okay I am going to send some pictures because it was a little bit of a slow week!
The first picture- we were knocking doors and no one answered so
Hermana P started writing a letter. I was waiting and decided to do
a pull up while I was waiting. When she turned around she found me in
the middle of pulling myself up. I am still weak sauce.
The second picture is a family picture. Elder J on the left
of me is my son. In the mission whoever your trainer is they are your
mom or dad in the mission. If you are a Elder that doesn't have Sister
missionaries in the mission then it goes to the Sister missionary who as
been in the mission the longest. That would be my previous companion
Hermana H but without her knowing I adopted Elder J as my
own. He is from Utah! I hope to be in the same district with him some
day! Either him or Elder C (his mission dad) they are great
missionaries!
The third picture- We found this peruvian restuarant right by our
house. Look what I ate! I order this dish my companion ordered last time.
It has different kind of seafood in it. I think I ate a heart, a fish
heart at some point but this was a octupus. Crazy eh? Yep I ate it. Not
my favorite but it was good! And the heart was a little too fishy
tasting for my taste. Jorge a member we eat with all the time loves the
resturant so I try new things there all the time!
okay I think that is all I can send this week. Love you!
Oh wait I forgot. Every transfer we stand up and say how long we
have been in the mission. I had to think about it but I have been out
for 7 transfers. Is that crazy? I think Hermana's have 11 or 12? This is
going by way too fast!
