Well after 4 transfers of being on bike I am being sent back to a car area. I have to say I will really miss the bike. Especially the bike I have been using this last transfer. I saved it from the dump fixed it up and rode it around. I named it Scooter! We had some good times but our time as come to go our seperate ways. I have a good feeling that I am going somewhere I have wanted to go for a really long time but I will find out tomorrow at transfer meeting. I am excited! Saturday before we got calls I was feeling really exhausted. Being on bike for 6 month as really wore down my body. I am really ready to have change. I am really sad to be leaving the Zone. I have been in this Zone for my whole mission! It has been fun to be around all the missionaries coming and going. I think I have been here the longest out of everyone... not sure but I am thinking so.
Well this week we had a really really really cool miracle. Hermana V and I were out walking and ran into our good friend Jorge. Jorge always takes us to eat or buys little treats for us. He was actually in a restaurant that sells Hot Chocolate. We went in to say hi and ended up seeing another person we had invited to church. He is this little old man, really so cute! He offered to buy us hot choclate but I felt bad and didn't really want one so we said no. When we left Hermana V said she had kind of wanted one. We secretly asked Jorge if he could order one for us as to not make the man feel bad. When we had the hot choclate we continued on our journey to find a old investigator. When we finished looking for her we had to walk back past the restaurant to our bikes. I was a little afraid that the old man would see the hot choclate in our hands and decided to take the alley. Just as we exited the alley. We passed this woman with her 4 kids pushing a shopping cart. We asked if she needed help but said she didn't (they always say that). Hermana V kept looking at her walk away as if we should talk to her. After a few seconds she chased her down leaving her with a pass along card and we were able to get her number!
The next day we were out with Andrea she is a returned missionary that is good friends with Hermana V, they met in the MTC. Anyway we didn't want to return home without teaching one lesson with her so as we were driving down the street where the woman lived I thought maybe we could stop in and see her. She let us in immediately and was really excited to see us! It was incredible! We even invited her to church. She wasn't going to able to make it but sent her oldest son to come with us! AND HE CAME!!! It was amazing! He even called us on Sunday morning before church and told us he was ready for the ride to pick him up! I really think they will get baptized. Probably really really soon! How incredible is that? We are really motivated by a question the zone leaders asked us this week. They called and asked us to share a story about someone who was found and baptized really quickly. I realized I don't have a story like that but I think this family could be the first!
As I was thinking about this experience I realized how perfectly Heavenly Father planned this. First our appointment cancelling which lead us to look for the old investigators. Leading us to find one in a place where were passed by the donut shop. He perfectly put Jorge there with his friends. The whole experience with hot chocolate and the old man which lead us to walk and different way back. Evenutally leading us to this family. I could not have planned it any better! It is just another testimony to me what Heavenly Father's timing is absoultely perfect! I can't wait to see what happens!
Well I will write next week from my new area! I love you all so much! Thanks for all the letters and prayers! I truly feel so blessed!
