Hello! Did I tell you about these kids I wanted to teach? They
always open the door for us to this aparment complex we are at, I can't
remember if I told you about them. Well yesterday we taught them. They
are so great! We had to say 2 closing prayers in order for them to have a
turn. We didn't realize how much they didn't know. They didn't even
know who Noah was. They don't go to church with their mom when she goes
so we are having to start from the very begining. They all got a copy of
the Book of Mormon and said they would read it. I really hope they
progress but if all else fails at least we taught them more about
religion. Hopefully it will plant a seed. My average teaching age just
got younger. Haha! I love teaching kids though! We wrote on a post-it
note the steps to prayer like this "1-Dear Heavenly Father 2- Thank you
for...... 3-Please bless... or Please help me... 4- In the name of Jesus
Christ, Amen." The littlest one who is 6 said the most basic prayer
"Thank you for my family. Please bless my family" and that was it. I
know they are so eager to learn though. I hope we get to teach them
again before next Sunday.
Yesterday the Elder's had a baptism for the Father of a girl who
got baptized a few months ago. We were in charge of the missionary
minute. We decided to speak on temples. To me there is nothing better
then being a missionary and watching ENTIRE families start on the path
that leads them to home to our Father in Heaven. The first step baptism
and the second temples. I can't explain the potential I see in these
families I teach. I just want them all to take part in the temple
blessings. Speaking of temples I GET TO GO TOMORROW!!!!! I am really
excited. It is a mission wide event so a few different zones are going.
It will be sweet to see the temple here though. I have seen only a
handful of pictures. I will be sure to tell you all about it!
I am at a loss for stories these days.... And I am not exactly sure
all the things I am learning this week... I hate to say it but this
might be it for today. My mind is blank. Weird I know! I hope you are
all well! Maybe if you have any questions about what I am doing you can
send them to me. I don't know what I haven't said that you would want to
know more about. I love you all! Have a great week
!

P.s. The English Elder's update us on that
AWESOME guy we found. In the Elder's words "He is legit!" Hopefully
things will continue to go well!
